The overall size is 5 x 4 7/8" outside dimensions The photo frame opening is 3 1/4" x 3 3/8" All of the decorations in the middle punch out to use for goodie bags, locker decorations, etc. Once you punch them out the little "legs" that hold them in the frame are easily trimmed off. The yellow shown in the background is actually adhesive. So everything on the piece already has adhesive with a peel off backing. You could actually attach magnetic material if you wanted. Imagine your goodie bags decorated with the ornaments from the inside of the frame, and then a team photo or individual photo inside the frame part. Too cool! The packaging does say for scrapbooking, however we don't know if it is acid free.
